Join us for our
new art exhibition
'breath in'

'breath in' celebrates the vibrant, creative community that exists at D2. Artwork on show has been created by members of our weekly art classes as well as D2 studio residents and art tutors. With sculptures, drawings, paintings, textiles and much more, there is something for everyone to enjoy! All welcome!

Opening events on Friday 27th September at 7pm or Saturday 28th from 11am-3pm. Exhibition will then run daily from 10am-3pm until 18th October.

Charcoal Portrait Workshop

On the 1st of July and 3rd of July, we are running a new Charcoal Portrait Class for our adult art class students. This informative workshop run by Hania Smith, will walk students through the process of creating a moody and atmospheric charcoal portrait from start to finish.

15th & 16th June

Kite Festival

In partnership with the Rainbow Muslim Women's Group, the Kite Club of Scotland and the Scottish Refugee Council, D2 ran a free kite making workshop aimed at families on Saturday 15th June in our exhibition space. On Sunday 16th, we headed to Bo'Ness foreshore to our kites alongside the Kite Club.

16th April

National Gallery Class Trip

Our adult art classes went on a trip to the National Gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh to get inspired by other artists and makers out there!

8th - 12th April

Easter Art Week

20 young artists aged 12 years, joined us for a week of creativity during the Easter holidays. There was drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture with a mini exhibition at the end of the week to show off all the amazing artwork!
